First Night St Petersburg is the largest family friendly New Year’s Eve Celebration of the Arts in Florida with over 10 performance venues that are cheerfully filled with music, interactive art exhibits, dance, literary works, crafting and more. First Night St Pete is a collaboration between local venues and performers in and around downtown St. Petersburg. Each venue showcases a variety of artistic mediums. This 2019 performances will range from kids interactive arts, puppet shows to aerial artistry, ballet, a scavenger hunt and so much more. This year, even Elvis with Cottondale Swamp will be in the building. The annual Fireworks will take place at 8:00 p.m. and midnight and are made possible and presented by the good people at Parkshore Grill, 400 Beach Seafood & Tap house and The Annex.

Founded in 1993, First Night is an independent 501(c)3 not for profit corporation run by a volunteer board of directors. The mission of First Night is to broaden and deepen the public’s appreciation for the visual and performing and literary arts through an innovative, diverse and high quality program on New Year’s Eve, which offers the community a shared cultural experience in the center of the city that is accessible and affordable.
