Weather
First Night goes on, rain or shine.  Most performances and activities are indoors.  First Night will not be cancelled due to weather.

Getting Around
First Night venues are all within walking distance in the core of downtown St. Petersburg and along the waterfront.  Walking shoes are recommended. 

Restrooms
North Straub Park and South Straub Park have temporary facilities.  Some venues have restrooms.

Welcome to First Night 2009

First Night takes place in Downtown St. Petersburg.

From Tampa take I-275 South to I-375 exit (left lane). Follow signs to Baywalk and The Pier. Exit at 9th St. or 4th St. There is free parking as well as paid parking throughout downtown.

From Bradenton take I-275 North to I-375 exit (right lanes). Follow signs to Baywalk and The Pier. Exit at 9th St. or 4th St. There is free parking as well as paid parking throughout downtown.

All downtown parking garages are open and street parking is available.

Mirror Lake Library, 280 Fifth St. N.
City Hall, 175 Fifth St. N. (north of Second Ave.)
